Transcranial Magnetic and Electrical Stimulation: From Research to Clinical Practice 2nd Edition | 7–9 May 2026 Carcavelos, Portugal

This course was organized by the European Society for Brain Stimulation (ESBS), and DEYMED featured a wide range of equipment in action during the hands-on sessions.

Basic Applications of TMS was led by Dr. Gonçalo Cotovio, a psychiatrist and researcher at the Champalimaud Foundation (Portugal), and Dr. Perianen Ramasawmy, a researcher at the University Medical Center Göttingen (Germany). During this workshop, the DuoMAG MP-Dual pair-pulse system was used alongside the EMG module and various coils.

Advanced TMS in Research was led by Dr. Lasse Christiansen, a researcher at the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR) at Hvidovre Hospital (Denmark). This session utilized our research EEG system combined with our rTMS device and EMG.

It was also fascinating to observe the integration of Deymed TMS system with the NIRx system. Furthermore, Professor Andrea Antal from the University Medical Center Göttingen (Germany) provided highly useful talks and led practical hands-on sessions with Deymed TMS.

Each day was filled with valuable, practical hands-on experience regarding clinical and research applications of TMS, all of which were very well received by the participants.
